Re: Improving the Audio

Peter, As a long time Ulead/Corel user audio has always been the "Achilles' heel" to this software. As Davidk suggested free audio editor Audacity would better fit your needs. I use Audacity for Noise Reduction, Compressor and Amplify in that order regularly with talking head footage. Two software I...

Re: Motion Array - anything like this for VS?

tletter, As I stated before I was not offering Moderator advice in my post I simply answered your question. I use DaVinci Resolve Studio. You would definitely never be Moderator material because you cannot see beyond your assumptions and directly attacked my answer as a comparison of consumer grade ...

Re: Motion Array - anything like this for VS?

Vdanny, I totally agree with you on some of your points and not so much on others. Yes the content you put on your timeline is the most important. Zach Snyder proved that by shooting a short film with an iphone Snow Steam Iron in 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJx54Ikj3ac Yes anyone can edit ...

Re: Motion Array - anything like this for VS?

I am here because I was here before all of you even knew about this forum. I have been a long time Ulead/Corel user for years. Let's get things straight, there is no perfect NLE. Yes I said it but DaVinci Resolve Studio does so many things better than VideoStudio Pro and you would only be a fool to ...

Re: Motion Array - anything like this for VS?

tlette wrote: So you're comparing a program that is listed for $400 to VS that currently sells for $70. Is there a point? Not comparing just stating I ditched VS and went with DaVinci. Also, Blackmagic gives you a free copy of their flagship DaVinci Resolve Studio $400 software for free with camera ...

Re: VS 2021 MP4 render quality

Vdanny is right. This is not a Corel issue. DaVinci Resolve Studio paid version takes full advantage of GPU Acceleration for H.264 and H.265 Decoding and Encoding. You can have up to 4 options based on hardware for encoding, Native, NVIDIA, AMD and Intel Quick Sync. I find Intel Quick Sync may not r...

Re: Repair broken MP4 file

Pepi, Never seen that error message with FFmpeg. Here's a possible fix: https://recoverit.wondershare.com/video-repair/moov-atom-not-found.html Best recovery steps I've seen with FFmpeg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3nWw9aX5kw If FFmpeg fails, don't throw in the towel yet. I've had success using...

Re: Video Capture USB or PCI Card

Aren't you capturing using HuffyUV AVI? VideoStudio is more than capable of editing and denoising the HuffyUV files and then encode to your desired format.

Re: Recorded Zoom files

In my world your advice does not apply. Due to the pandemic, the norm for legal depositions is Zoom with timestamp. Content is only shared amongst privileged parties and the Court. Private or unlisted YouTube channels/videos can be compromised.

Re: Recorded Zoom files

My experience with Zoom recordings is that it tries to optimize the recording based on one's screen resolution. I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with native Display resolution 1920x1080 and overclocked Refresh rate of 101 Hz. Try this: Test 1: Record 10-15 secords and stop recording. Look at your Zoom ...

Re: Plan to buy Video Studio 2020? Think twice.

dgvs19,
I totally agree with you. IMHO, VideoStudio Ultimate X9 was probably the most worthwhile upgrade from earlier versions and stable. From current offerings, VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 is the best.
