Re: Paintshop Pro 2020 strokes vanishing bug?
I've never noticed this bug with brushes, but I certainly have with vector text. The workaround is the same: zoom in or out a little.

Re: Window>Fit to Image Driving Me Crazy
Hi LInda, To be honest, I've not understood the issue but it could be some of your View settings, under File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences: http://prntscr.com/wstx4l EDIT. Just saw this was already suggested by Kathy, and you said everything is set to "fit to window". The screenshot ...

Re: Paste in Place script?
Hello guys, I edited the 1st post of the topic, attaching the scripts I recorded along with their accompanying Readme.txt file and a very short video for basic usage (which for some reason came out with low quality visuals... no idea why, I may re-do it at some point). I ended up with 3 scripts, mea...

Re: Paste in Place script?
We were cross-posting Levi. Actually I was editing my previous post while your were writing yours.. yes, I added the temp-file or the clipboard itself idea, as an intermediate step for saving/retrieving the positional data, as well as that I wouldn't mind at all if the "same dimensions" was left as ...

Re: Paste in Place script?
I honestly have no clue about the functions provided by PSP's python API (or python itself for that matter), but I assumed (probably wrongly) that if the relative position of a layer inside an image (the source image actually) can be retrieved say compared to the upper left corner, it would then be ...

No worries Joe!
Bottom line, we can enjoy G'MIC from within PSP, and according to FlutteringBy its 32bit variant works too

Re: Paste in Place script?
Thanks for the detailed answer Levi. I asked hec-fashion why she shows the recording of just 1 script for the creation of the temp group and then leaves the clean up after the pasting as a manual process, instead of showing your suggestion about recording 2 scripts: 1 for Copy (for the temp group) a...

Re: 32 Bit Plugins & Windows 10
My experience is exactly the same with Levi's (meaning I had tested the version suggested by JoeB too, without success). I have no idea why & how it works for JoeB, without the .8bf file present.

Re: 32 Bit Plugins & Windows 10
That really beats me Joe. Theoretically, if no ".8bf" file is present, there shouldn't be any entry shown inside PSP's Plugins menu. PS. ".8bf" is just one of a few filename extensions recognized by PSP's plugin interface. The other ones are: ".8be" for export module, ".8bi" for format module, and "...

Paste in Place script?
Hello, not sure if I have asked this before (a forum search suggested I have not) but is there a proper "Paste In Place" script available for PSP? If not, would it be possible for someone (Levi?) make such a script? I've given up hope waiting for Corel to add the functionality as a proper command. I...

Re: 32 Bit Plugins & Windows 10
Hi Joe, I'm not sure what you are using. If it shows as a plugin inside PSP, then most probably it is one of the versions listed on the Ps compatible plugin page (moreover, if it is working and you haven't gotten the latest v1.2.1 from there, then most probably it is version 1.0.2). The differences ...

Re: 32 Bit Plugins & Windows 10
Hello Flutetringby, version 1.0.2 of the plugin should NOT create the "Input/Output Settings for G'MIC QT" entry in your menu. This was added in later versions of the plugin, which according to my tests (on Windows 8.1 x64) do NOT play well with Paintshop Pro. You probably did NOT download the versi...

Re: text - how to set no line color ??
I agree with Levi, to get sharper but not jagged edges you should use Sharp anti-aliasing (in your examples, you noted that you have already set stroke width to 0... it's not relevant to edge smoothing anyway). Sharp anti-aliasing (regardless of stroke) is usually very helpful with small/tiny font s...
