Re: Unable to upgrade from VS Pro 2020 to VS Ultimate 2020

Hi dfkettle It seems a little strange that you purchased the Pro only to upgrade to the Ultimate, maybe an oversight, not to worry...... Usually Corel provide a clean-up tool for video studio but so far not available for 2020 I will try and chase this up for you, but as it is approachig the weekend...

Unable to upgrade from VS Pro 2020 to VS Ultimate 2020

Yesterday I purchased VideoStudio Pro 2020, downloaded and installed it. I believe it was installed correctly, no errors were reported during the install, and I was able to open it and edit a short video. Today I purchased the upgrade to VideoStudio Ultimate 2020, downloaded and installed it. But it...

Re: Annoying popup ads for ParticleShop

Yeah that thread. But you need to read to the end. I did read to the end. Here's what the last post in the thread says: Well, I thought that was the end of it but it's back again after selecting the option in the notification area. Pestering your customers that have purchased your product is a sure...

Re: Annoying popup ads for ParticleShop

See the sticky at the top of the forum. Which one? This one? http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=62216 All those options were already turned off. Note that the ads I'm talking about are for ParticleShop, not PaintShop Pro. I already have PaintShop Pro 2018 installed, and I'm sure as hell...

Annoying popup ads for ParticleShop

How do I get rid of the sh*t popup ads for ParticleShop that appear EVERY F'ING DAY in the bottom-right hand corner of my screen? Unless someone can tell me how to get rid of this virus that Corel has installed on my computer, I will NEVER purchase any product from Corel EVER AGAIN.

I posted a question on the Python forum (https://python-forum.io/Thread-Python-P ... t-Shop-Pro). Maybe somebody there can help us.

Re: Generative art and PSP scripting

I took a look at the Pillow web site, and on the Installation page ( http://pillow.readthedocs.io/en/4.2.x/installation.html ), I found the following notes: Pillow < 2.0.0 supports Python versions 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7. Pillow >= 2.0.0 < 4.0.0 supports Python versions 2.6, 2.7, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 Pillo...

Re: Generative art and PSP scripting

Assuming I can get PIL working, any idea on how I'd convert a native PSP raster image to a PIL raster image, and vice versa? Unless I can do that, there isn't much point. I might as well do what I'm doing now, which is generating the image in a stand-alone Python/PIL script, then opening it in PSP t...

Generative art and PSP scripting

This isn't purely a technical issue, but I'm just curious if anyone in this forum is doing generative art in PSP using Python. I've done some work using stand-alone Python scripts and PIL (Python Imaging Library), as well as the computer language "Processing", and I'd like to try something similar u...

Re: Output of print statement

Why not just add a checkbox to the script menu?

Re: Output of print statement

Thanks, I looked under the "View" menu, in Preferences, and wherever else I could think of, but no luck. I didn't think to look under "Palettes", that's probably not the most obvious place for it.

Output of print statement

I'm trying to run a very simple script that doesn't do anything except display the version of Python that's included with PSP. I suspect it's Python 2, not 3, but I want to find out exactly which version it is. So I wrote the following script: from PSPApp import * import sysconfig def ScriptProperti...

Re: Scripting Resources

Is there updated documentation for PSP 2018 (aka PSP 20.2.0.1)? Or has nothing changed?

Thanks.
