Re: Help with CLONE tool
Don't know if you will see this since your post was almost a year ago. I have the same question and I see you never got an answer here. I am new to PSP and ASP3. They look like decent software, but support SUCKS. It is so bad, it is almost like a bad joke. But, usually the answer can be found with d...

reinstall X9 questions creative content and...
Hi, I had to a reinstall of X9 after a clean install of windows. 1.)When I registered the product, window popped up saying free gifts for registering. Included was a 200 mb creative content. Does anyone know if all or some of that is part of the 400+ creative content that comes with the Ultimate pac...

Re: where are my shortcut keys
Thanks. I did simply do the view>customize> reset to defaults which did restore the function.
I just hope that whatever I did to lose the function I don't repeat.
Appreciate it.

where are my shortcut keys
The user manual says that when my cursor hovers over tools that the shortcut key will be displayed. I do not have that function. When I go to help>keyboard map and look under tools, there are no shortcuts displayed. There are some that do work. I think they are mostly those shared with windows and s...

PSP X9 crashes
My copy of PSP X9 has crashed 4x since I started using it. It crashed twice just a few minutes ago as I was using the text tool and moving objects on the canvas. I may have been converting a vector layer to raster both times and that, if true, may have simply been a coincidence. Most of the time it ...

Re:JoeB and MarkZ
Thank you for the insights. Very helpful. I am still getting use to PSP. It will take a while. JoeB. By a setting for the size, I meant that I wondered if there was a location in settings where I could set as a default the size of the thumbnails to load. A smaller size would load faster for thumbnai...

loading pics into Paintshop Pro x9 manage view
Is it just my imagination.... OR is it a fact? When loading a bunch of pics from a large folder, it appears that visible files load faster. If I scroll down, the files visible in the work area seem to load much faster. They speed up as I scroll down. Is that the experience of anyone else? If what I ...

Thanks rondo and JoeB for your hearty vote for PSP.
Do either of you have online galleries where I can see some of your work?
Thanks again.

UPDATE. Brand New USER, first question.......
UPDATE. And, perhaps, the end and resolution to my question. There is no delay or problem. For some reason, If I leave the cursor over the edit panels, it takes a long time for the edit to be applied. However, if I move the cursor over the workspace, it is done almost immediately. So, maybe the ques...

coming to PSP from PhotoshopElements, if you have same path
I have been an Elements user for several years and have reached a certain level of creative ability with it. I am a photographer so my work is narrowed to that primarily. However, I do build composites. Most of the work that I post on Flickr or Facebook is a composite of two or more pics to tell a s...

which font manager do you use or just a folder?
I am considering a font manager and wonder which ones some of you might be using and recommend. I have already read of 2 recommended by PSP users. The Font Thing and Font Runner. Both free!!! It would seem that the functional of a font manager is pretty simple and straightforward so it would be easy...

UPDATE found error or part of it anyway
I installed both the 32 and the 64 bit versions. Someone may have already guessed, but I thought when I downloaded the content using the download more content from the 64 bit version, that was it. But, then, when I went to the 32 bit version, I could not find it anywhere. Of course, I know it makes ...

I did just find a list displayed in the forum just above my question not far from the top. So, I suppose, I will find brushes under brushes, etc. etc.
