Re: 50fps making fuzzy slo-mo??
Bottom line is, I guess I'm looking for someone who produces SLOW-MOTION 4k FOOTAGE..........and how they do it! There are many things required to produce an output of comparable quality to the input. A couple of observations based on the first and third images: You've dropped the data rate from 15...

Re: 50fps making fuzzy slo-mo??
I decided to create some slo-mo footage from my 50FPS, reducing to 50% for a nice smooth slow motion. It RENDERS out an awful, pixelated, fuzzy clip and I have no idea why. It's unclear what you're doing. Are you taking a 50 FPS video and reducing the speed by 50% and then rendering it at 50 FPS? I...

Re: Mercalli problem
Ensure that your project properties match those of your rendered file.SeanK wrote:My source files are 1920x1080x60fps and I usually render to MPEG-4 (1920x1080, 30fps) but when I do, the Mercalli Analyze banner shows and the image is not stabilized.

Re: Auto effect on video problem
Is there a size limit for uploading files - they are almost 4Gb each segment. Of course, so I'd suggest that you cutoff a small segment and post it to a file sharing website (most people don't want to download a 4GB file). Have you tried converting your file to a standard format using something lik...

Re: corel video studio freezes
One that I would like to use is the "FLIP etc" When I introduce the flip, flying cube, flying board ) into edit track, everything freezes! I cant move scrubber or execute any command. I have to wait for about 5 to 7 seconds before anything is accessible again, then I continue. In VS2018, the Flying...

Re: Is there a good source for free LUTs fo VideoStudio
Are there any good sources to down load free LUTS that are good. You can download freely available LUTs for specific cameras, e.g. Sony A7 LUTs (http://www.xdcam-user.com/2014/08/set-of-20-cube-luts-for-the-sony-a7s/). A web search will probably allow you to find some LUTs for your specific camera....

Re: Best Performance Hardware for Videostudio 2018
Even under aggressive editing, the processor stays cool, the computer dead silent, and the cpu utilization rarely hits 25%. That's not a good thing as it'd be much better if VS could peg the processor at 100% rather than being unable to fully utilize the hardware. Best cheap PC configuration I've e...

Re: End video on an image
Your profile doesn't indicate what version of VS you're using. I would like the image shown, not go to a black screen. Are you referring to a VS-rendered video? When a rendered video is viewed, whether the viewer stops and displays the last frame depends on the viewer and not VS. For example, the de...

Re: Slowing down for easier cutting?
Your profile doesn't indicate what version of VS you're using, but splitting/trimming your clips is basically version invariant. it's tricky to make cuts with the video playing at normal speeds. I find myself anxiously trying to pinpoint the right place and the video has already moved past me! Is th...

Re: VideoStudio 2020 became much less responsive
Yes I have tried to open a new project when the lag starts. No luck. Keep having delay. You don't seem to be interested in taking a well thought out troubleshooting approach, e.g. starting a new project checking the responsiveness; and then making one change at a time to the project and checking th...

Re: VideoStudio 2020 became much less responsive
I am just saying that is the only thing I do in an unorthodox way . I am trying to find out a root cause for the lag. I have started to consider everything. That's great but previously you thought that using Windows Explorer to drag and drop files onto the Timeline was " an unorthodox way " to add ...

Re: VideoStudio 2020 became much less responsive
One think a assume; can it be related about how I import media to timeline. I drag and drop from windows explorer to timeline directly? Can someone test it for me in his/her computer. Importing media in such way is very convenient for my workflow. Why do you want someone to test this basic function...

Re: Lagging badly during playback
Actually, I have been too shy to ask, but do people really need that? Not everyone is editing the same type of VSP on the same H/W. So yes some people do need Smart Proxy but clearly your happy editing w/o Smart Proxy. Are you editing 4K video w/o Smart Proxy? P.S. Your profile doesn't indicate eit...

The Corel VideoStudio 2019 User Guide can help you answer that question. tletterozzlvlosis wrote:Does this need to be disabled for rendering or is it automatic?
