Re: [Sticky] -- What Do You Like/Not Like About PSP 2021

Here's the real original: frog2.jpg I'm not saying the new Ai version never works, the main point I want to say is that they should still have both options, not to completely delete the old feature and and replace it with something new. They both work differently and in some cases the old one works ...

Re: [Sticky] -- What Do You Like/Not Like About PSP 2021

Under noise removal Corel has decided to replace jpeg artifact removal with AI artifact removal in 2021. What the heck? There is no control with the AI artifact removal which makes it totally inferior! At least with the Jpeg artifact removal you could control the strength and crispness. Bad Bad Bad...

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022

I'm with Ravelli, I'm not sure why I keep paying for updates, I'm also a longtime user since Jasc PSP 5. I guess I hope that Corel will actually bring in something worth while. This is probably my last "upgrade", but here are some things I'd like added/re-added/fixed: - Bring back the old 'JPEG Arti...

Re: Direct Download of PSP2020 v20.2.0.8 from Corel

I wondered why some installers are like that. I find it annoying, I like having a full offline installer so that I don't have to download things every time I want to install it. It takes takes up extra network data and it takes quite a bit longer (I only have 20mbps internet in my area).

Direct Download of PSP2020 v20.2.0.8 from Corel

I'll probably get in trouble for this but I don't know why they don't offer this from the start, but here's the full direct download of PSP2020 version 20.2.0.8 (with Update 2 already installed). Serial number is still required (so hopefully I won't get in trouble for this). Here is the download dir...

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019

Thanks for the speed increase in 2018. That was my biggest complaint of PSP ever since Corel took over, and almost gave up using it. I started to gravitate exclusively to Photoshop because once it's initially loaded, the performance seems decent. I've been a PSP fan since Jasc PSP 5, so I'd hate to g...

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

Please add Tiff ZIP compression in the save dialog... In the meantime, you could use PNG, unless you have a camera or some hardware that uses TIFF ZIP. PNG is also a lossless photo format, like TIFF and TIFF ZIP, so far it has provided the smallest file size for a lossless format. It's also already...

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

I would also like to have the save and open dialogs to be updated, as to like the image I attached. I use the address bar at the top so that I can get to places quickly. For example, if I have a window open, I can copy the address from their and past it into the PSP address bar.

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

The Screen Capture feature seems to be a bit dated now. It works great in Windows XP, but the Capture Object feature doesn't seem to work as good ever since Windows Vista and up. This could be something else that could be updated and fixed. Before it would highlight areas that it's going to capture....

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

Also with zooming, improving the performance of zooming when using the mouse wheel would be good. It seems like it's slow, at least compared to Jasc PSP 9.

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

Fast Startup for single file editing When PSP starts there is a large overhead in loading the photo management database. If I start PSP by right clicking a .jpg and selecting Open/Edit or any other method where it is clear only one file is involved, I would like it to start without loading any of t...

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

I like the Manage and Edit to remain where they are, but I'm not sure about Adjust. I can go quickly through viewing lots of images in a folder, even full screen, using Manage, and just click Edit when the right image is reached. Very simple, fast, and practical for me. The thing is for me, I use a...

Re: Wish list for Paint Shop Pro version X8

Although i don`t use the Manage mode, i tested and i was able to add multiple tags to photos or other files. I might use it more if i could use the search feature and use more than one tag (ex: Mom, Disney, 2000) I believe in the vain of keeping the performance of Paint Shop Pro the best, I believe...

Re: The Road to PaintShop Pro X7.1

Thanks for bringing back drag-in-drop in Windows 8/8.1! I missed that feature.

Edit: I closed PSP, then opened it again and now it's not working again. :(
