Re: Video File media players

Thanks for your reply, yes my tv is digital and I connected my old WD device via HDMI. I have looked at this Roku and wondered if this would do the trick.......as long as it has a usb input, so that I can plug my hard drive into it ? I also wondered if there was anything that would do the job of bot...

Re: Video File media players

Hello Ken, You are quite right, my Sony tv doesn`t like playing video files through the usb, hence the reason for using this old device. I can`t see what has superceded this one, most streamers nowadays seem to be sticks which is not really what I want. There are lots out there, but just wondered if...

Video File media players

Any advice please ? Still using X8 regularly to create video files. For many years I have used a WD Media Streamer to play these files on my tv. It is now old and not working properly and I do not know what to buy to replace it, it is a minefield to try and understand. I keep all of my files on a ha...

Re: Jerky Panning on rendered footage

Thanks Trevor, I have clicked and looked at properties, they are all the same (I use all Canon cameras, and try to use the same settings) Pal HDMV, H264 UFF, 1920 x 1080, and 25,000 FPS

The disc I will be burning is BLURAY, but I want to give the files also on a USB Stick (probably MP4)

Re: Jerky Panning on rendered footage

Thanks for your thoughts Guys.............I have had this problem before and it gets ever more frustrating, I am very careful when I occasionally Pan Or Zoom as this is where the problem is noticed. The project is a family wedding video and I want to give them a Bluray plus the files on a USB stick....

Re: Track Motion in prox8

I think match motion is the right method but I can`t get it to work..............I have selected this option after I have tracked on the video track but what I am getting now is a small square of the actual video from the overlay on the person`s face rather than a pixelation ?? It is driving me mad ...

Track Motion in prox8

Struggling a little with track motion.....I have a 3 camera project in the timeline of a xmas nativity play. Trying to pixelate a face throughout the project, and can manage with anything that is on the first video track...this works well but when I try on a section which is using Overlay track 1, I...
