Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

To enable us to move forward with this problem I think we need your video files to test. That would mean you uploading to a sharing site. If that is to happen then you should create a Smart Package of the project, that copies all files used in the project. Then upload the Smart Package I am quite wi...

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

Variable data rates should not affect the audio sync, if it were variable frame rates then maybe there will be an issue Converting to another format may help and probably worth a try, but personally with your files should not be necessary Your files appear to be bog standard DVD Mpeg2 and as such sh...

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

So adding the extra short video clips has no bearing on the sync issue, nor using different timelines to check sync I have just rendered a short 720 x 480, 29.97 fps file( 13 minutes duration) unedited I compared the new clip to the project clips, all in sync. Using the 13 minute clip I trimmed remo...

Re: Changing storyboard view to all horizontal

From (F6) preferences – UI Layout are options to choose a layout -default should work. Also from the menu Settings are Layout options Can you provide a screen shot of the Storyboard. As you say a bit of a puzzle. The three panels, preview screen, library and timelines can be dragged to rearrange the...

Re: Changing storyboard view to all horizontal

I have never seen the Storyboard view changed, generally its the Timeline layout that gets adjusted
Anyway pressing keyboard F7 should revert the display to the default layout.

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

A lot of detail there, I think I understand at least most of it. Whatever timelines you use to compare the two video clips should not alter / change the sync. With your video clip on the top track, place an image as the first clip, you could use a colour clip. Now if you wish to move the video clip ...

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

I am not sure exactly what you have done to cause the beginning of the video to be out of sync with the original Taking the original clip use the scissors to make a cut, ( keyboard S key to split clip) Now drag and drop the other two short clips (17 and 24 second clips) to the timeline, at this cut ...

Re: Videostudio 2021 Ultimate - AR Stickers

I cannot use AR Stickers with same error message It appears that those are not supported by my AMD A10 processor, the problem may affect other types. I am aware that Corel are working on a fix for this, I am just being patient. You should contact Corel Support to inform them of your problem giving t...

Re: MovieFactory 7 replacement

Hi Mike It is of course worth trying to install MovieFactory on Windows 10, you never know. Like Ken I have used some Ashampoo software, they provide a Burning Studio free or the purchased version Burning Studio 22, not sure what is the difference. The latter has a 10 day trial can be extended to 30...

Re: Videostudio still not rendering HEVC projects correctly

I hope that the forum can help me with this (ongoing?) issue with Videostudio Ultimate 2019 and other versions. My Panasonic HC-X1 camcorder captures video in MP4 3840 x 2160 , 50p, H.264. What is the data rate of the original video file? What is the size of the original recordings, lets say for a ...

Kenneth
The topic here is referring to Video Studio 2019, you are using VS 2020
VS 2020 was updated providing a different panel
The attached images should make this clearer
I have also updated the topic title to include 2019

Re: Video Studio 2022 Wishlist

File Save Trimmed Video will create a new video file of the selected clip, do that for each clip and you have 5 new video files.

You could now replace each trimmed clip with the new (full 12 second) clip.
