Re: Rendering Issues With VS Pro X9 Output Formats

It is highly probable that something on your timelines at 58% is causing this fail to render and yes sometimes is difficult to locate, I believe you mentioned having several audio files. Some MP3 audio using the Lame Codec has caused problems for video Studio. Your best option is to save the project...

Re: No support for video with dual channel audio

Digital Dolby for Windows 10 and Video Studio is still supported for Stereo it is the Surround Sound option that is no longer supported When we use a video containing Surround Sound the program sees it as being stereo having the two channels L / R Besides from the Media Info details it is clear that...

Re: Loss Of Quality Rendering 4K 60fps

si2belldart. Are you able to render just the intro / tiltles etc. with no smart render. Replace the main project intro with the new video then render the complete project with Smart Render should now use 100Mbps data rate. Unfortunately the program does not fully support the higher data rate with a ...

Re: Rendering Issues With VS Pro X9 Output Formats

Are you experiancing this quality issue on the original video before you have used Share to render.
Or does the problem occur after rendering.

One of your renders did change the frame rate from progressive to interlaced also reduced the frame size and that will not do you any favours

Re: Rendering Issues With VS Pro X9 Output Formats

Your first clip properties I assume are MTS as Video: H.264 Video Attributes: 24 bits, 1920x1080, 16:9 Frame Rate: 59.940 frames/sec Data Rate: Variable bit rate (Max 26000 Kbps) When you rendered you chose a profile using 30 fps which effectively removed 50% of the videos frames reducing quality. I...

Re: Rendering Issues With VS Pro X9 Output Formats

You can't render to MTS in VS Pro, I believe. Yes you can........... MTS video are AVCHD video types From Share these are showing as AVC / H.264 The default profile uses settings similar to your video files properties. You do not show those details but will be similar to :- MPEG Transport-Stream Fi...

Re: Rendering Issues With VS Pro X9 Output Formats

What clips are on the timeline at approx 58%
Have you applied any types of or extra edits for those clips. FX filters, speed settings, added title clips etc.

Post updated, If the original videos are MTS then you will be best rendering to MTS.

What are the full properties of your MTS video files.

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

To enable us to move forward with this problem I think we need your video files to test. That would mean you uploading to a sharing site. If that is to happen then you should create a Smart Package of the project, that copies all files used in the project. Then upload the Smart Package I am quite wi...

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

Variable data rates should not affect the audio sync, if it were variable frame rates then maybe there will be an issue Converting to another format may help and probably worth a try, but personally with your files should not be necessary Your files appear to be bog standard DVD Mpeg2 and as such sh...

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

So adding the extra short video clips has no bearing on the sync issue, nor using different timelines to check sync I have just rendered a short 720 x 480, 29.97 fps file( 13 minutes duration) unedited I compared the new clip to the project clips, all in sync. Using the 13 minute clip I trimmed remo...

From (F6) preferences – UI Layout are options to choose a layout -default should work. Also from the menu Settings are Layout options Can you provide a screen shot of the Storyboard. As you say a bit of a puzzle. The three panels, preview screen, library and timelines can be dragged to rearrange the...

Re: Changing storyboard view to all horizontal

I have never seen the Storyboard view changed, generally its the Timeline layout that gets adjusted
Anyway pressing keyboard F7 should revert the display to the default layout.

Re: Timeline View comparison out of sync

A lot of detail there, I think I understand at least most of it. Whatever timelines you use to compare the two video clips should not alter / change the sync. With your video clip on the top track, place an image as the first clip, you could use a colour clip. Now if you wish to move the video clip ...
