Re: How good is AfterShot Pro 3 compared to other RAW editors such as Capture One?
I have used it as my main raw converter since back in the days before Corel purchased it and it was developed under the name Bibble Pro. Actually, Bibble was one of the first raw converters ever, of not the very first. It was always a bit buggy and development and bux fixes was slow, but they did a ...

Re: COREL, where do you go from here...?
AfterShot 3 was introduced May 13, 2016. Since then, they have managed to integrate ParticleShop and SmugMug, and a few bug fixes. Their lack of development has disappointed me big time. I have been a customer since BibblePro 4, long time before it got aquired by Corel and renamed into AfterShot. Th...

Re: AfterShot Pro - Wishlist for future versions
Future version? Are you sure that will be there a future version? Corel doesn't seem so interested to this program. Achille It now seems to have been mothballed completely into abandonware heaven a very loooong time ago. As a longtime user ever back since it was called Bibble Pro 4, their almost da...

They must be very busy at the developer team...

Re: COREL, where do you go from here...?
I made this post exactly one year ago in the hopes that Corel would wake up and PROVE that ASP isn't abandoned. So today, more than a year since the last lifesign from the devolopment team, it has officially become abandonware. The time of last signs of life from the Corel development team have long...

Amazing how nothing happens at/with ASP, and the constant lack of comments/updates from the ASP Dev. Team. The silence is deafening....

Re: COREL, where do you go from here...?
So tell me, in Norway, when you find an apparently dead body, don't you slap the face to see whether there is a reaction? I don't know. We don't have that much dead bodys lying around anymore... Regarding ON1 and other raw converter products. Discussing them vs ASP are certainly not off-topi...

Re: COREL, where do you go from here...?
This wasn't intended as a thread/discussion of ON1 RAW on different Linux configurations. Please make new thread for that purpose... Well, it probably doesn't matter much anyway... ASP seems more and more like abandonware, so, unless Corel does something positive with the software, or the Cor...

COREL, where do you go from here...?
This was intentionally intended as a response to a question in the plugins section, but the answer is more relevant as a foundational question to the Corel AfterShot development team. The lack of love, commitment and dedication for the development of AfterShot is significant and it is the telltale s...

Re: Portrait Image results in Landscape JPG / wrong Orientat

Maybe they will fix it with the 4.0 upgrade then...?

Doesn't show other than the "There are no updates available at this time" message on my Windows machine. I see you do work on Linux. Probably a bug then...Hobgoblin wrote:@arnfinn

Re: Upgrade to Aftershot3 for $60 ?? Are you serious?
I had expected a bit more innovation put into the product from a major upgrade. Most disapponited that there doesn't seems to be a upgrade pricing on the Grad Pro filter. It's not that much money, but there should have been a benefit for existing paid customers vs new customers. I have registered my...
