Re: AfterShot Pro 3 Generates Multiple Versions
Good to read that the devs are aware of the problem. I am glad that there is a hotfix that will at least not proliferate those pesky unwanted versions, bad enough that it is windows only. Please be aware that many of us would definitely like to see a working version again. For my side, I was lucky e...

This behaviour I could observer both on windows and Linux. Lucky me that I have found an installer of the previous version in my b...

Sony RX10 III - is it supported in ASP 3
I am considering the purchase of a Sony RX10 III for its 600mm max. focal length, but before that I want to know if it is supported in AfterShot. In the compatibility list I found only the Sony RX10 II - the somewhat elder version with shorter max. focal length. Does anybody convert RAW files from t...

Re: One month later: did you updrade ? …or not?
Still on V1 - as I am lucky and my camera is supported, I did not see substantial advantages in V2, especially as Noise Ninja is gone now, and I already had difficulties to get clean high-iso results from the E-M5 *with noise ninja*. And what I see from lightroom, conversion results are better than ...

Yes, indeed, that was my mistake - now it works.
Thank you very much!
Just out of curiosity: how did you retrieve the lens id?
Best regards - Markus

Re: Olympus 12-40mm Calibration from Darktable, no automatic
Thanks for your efforts! I downloaded both files and put them into the correct folder. Now I can select the 12-40mm by hand, but it is still not recognized automatically when clicking the 'reload exif' button. I have uploaded a test file on my server so you can try yourself: http://markus-spring.inf...

is there a reason why you omitted the Olympus 12-40mm?

Re: Olympus 12-40mm Calibration from Darktable, no automatic
Certainly not all calibrations are of the same quality, but those of the 12-40mm are good. It all depends on the person who did the calibration. You might do some calibration images of your own and send them to Thorsten Bronger, indicating that the present calibration data needs improvement: http://...
