Re: File system directory view folder order

shared lib is missing GOMP_4.0

hi.. Linux x64 today i spent a fair amount of time getting my watermarker script running again. afx helped a lot. using imagemagick i finally found the error message: convert: /opt/AfterShot3(64-bit)/lib/libgomp.so.1: version `GOMP_4.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libMagickCore-...

Highlight Recovery 148 - an analysis & suggestion

hi there.. 3.0.0.148 fixed the pink hue problem pretty much once and for all. at least in my testing - and my collection of bad raw files from all kinds of cameras is pretty scary. but. there is always a but, isn't it? the new algorithm is so aggressive that it kills contrast and detail down to the ...

Re: ASP 3 Another crash scenario

well, they didnt answer *your* question, so that is understandable. and while i am not a corel fanboy i have to admit that Aftershot seems to have a better future than the first two years made it appear. support and debugging is slow, but it continues. remember the old truth about software developme...

Re: Can I script a list of files by filename?

well, sorry i forgot:
work queues are like file system edits, they need to be imported again into a library.
and in general that is not really a good idea, because of different settings.
while the catalogs by default write back to the filesystem, the other way round can only be done via import.

Re: Can I script a list of files by filename?

you can. and much easier than you might expect. let me introduce you to one of the hard-to-find features in AfterShot: WorkQueues they come from Bibble4 times and luckily are still available. think of them as virtual folders across anything your filesystem can reach. create a file name "something.wo...

Re: ASP3 highlight recovery - examples

ASP 3.0.0.148 hotfix should resolve that issue.
but the new aggressiveness of the HR introduces some other effects, like "plastic skin" on people.

Re: How to remove moiré

probably too late, but anyways:
try various noise reduction methods and settings, even locally with a layer.
Wavelet Denoise usually does a pretty good job for moiree.

Re: Changing from ASP1 to ASP3 on Ubuntu

since i am in the process of switching over: Is there a site which explains the difference between ASP 1 and 3? Are the xmp-files compatible? the xmp files are very compatible. even switching back and forth works. just don't do it with catalogs. important: you must have the same plugins installed in...

Re: Cleaning out imported Keywords

you can just select all images and remove the keywords in the panel.
might take some time.. might even crash the program..
but be aware, they are gone afterwards.
