Re: PSP 2021. Have they fixed the problems?

You people complaining about PSP opening times in seconds should have mine. PSP2021 took 38s to appear on the task bar, 2:07 to be usable. This is normal for all the last four versions of PSP. I thought that was pretty good, probably because my Manage tab is pointing at four image folders that are d...

Re: [Sticky] -- What Do You Like/Not Like About PSP 2021

Some filters work, the only one I have found that doesn't work is Mura's copies. Eye Candy plugins work, even 3.1 and 4000. Someone in the other thread said Xero plugins don't work but they were updated a few years ago to add a 64-bit version and Porcelain does work. I do use Mura's Copies a lot, an...

Autosave is still 15 minutes, can't make it less.

Dunno it' just my case. but, I had to revert to 22.0.0.132
You just have to go reset them again. Mine also were reset to default.

It doesn't work in my 2020; I still need to be careful while using the tool to avoid moving the wrong layer. I see no option to change it either.

* Pick Tool: Option to only select objects on the current group or layer This is worth an update by itself. So I spoke too soon, I don't see how to set this option and it's off by default, still works the way it always has. Plus I had the keyboard shortcut set to D because that was the shortcut for...

Re: Paintshop Pro 2020 Crash!

PSP 2020 just closes with lots of random activities: saving to ,pspimage, applying random filters, you name it .

Note to Simone: while the team is at it, please change Autosave back to 5 minutes, 15 minutes is too long to wait. I'm having to save after each new task on an image.

Re: Once again, thumbnails do not appear for .pspimage files

What would be better would be that later versions of PSP would reregister the thumbnail handler to each new installation. I thought reinstalling 2020 would be easier than the previous instruction, and this time all my customizations remained. That's a first IIRC.

I remember I've been through this before for exactly the same reason.

Thank you

Re: Once again, thumbnails do not appear for .pspimage files

I remember that from before, and I know what happened. I had too many versions of PSP installed and uninstalled PSP X7 and that was the first one I installed when I got this computer. What is the .dll I need to look for?

So why doesn't it work on the first installation? I just got done with my customizations and now have to uninstall?

Re: Setting Materials

For what it's worth, PSP2019 works like it did before when I do put a check in all tools. I don't know what changed but the only solution I come up with is the dreaded reset. I don't like to have it behaving opposite to the settings, so I don't have much choice.
