Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

for each of those 4 images, when I ZOOM IN and then " right-click->Copy Image ", it then gets successfully pasted into PSP. Me too. It is related to the way the enlargement modifies or "corrupts" the protection watermark. The zooming is is also related to your screen size. EDIT : I tried to recombi...

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

Continuing my testing... My CorelDraw X5 opens the 500 euro banknote. I cut/crop the image in four pieces and save each 1/4 image in lossless format PNG (see attached). The first and third images open in my PSP 2021. The second and fourth don't open. I think the embedded Digimarc (or similar) invisi...

But it seems curious to me that we are getting different reactions from PSP.
Could you modify the banknote PNG file (add some text, for example) or change 500 to 600 and try to save it? Is the save permitted?

So either there is another EURion constellation hidden in the bill somewhere or it's using another specific identifier.
Yes:

I tried deleting the yellow spots found on the note using gimp's clone tool trying to see if I could fool it by removing what I thought were the EURion constallation circles, but it still refused.
Gimp opens that banknote image?

Re: Disable the filter that prevents you from working with banknote images

I made a test with this banknote:
https://pagtour.info/greve-sncf-un-calais-paris-a-500e/

From PSP X7 to PSP 2021, no version opens this image.
Corel Draw X5 opens the image and Photo Paint X5 accepts the image.
Corel Painter Essentials 7 opens the image.
The image opens in Windows Photo.

Would also like if Copy Merged option was placed back on the image tab instead of in the Edit menu (without a hot key to boot!)

I think Dave meant to say the Smart Clone tool (that one can be indeed set to freehand too)

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022

An additional Point to Point selection option for the Clone Tool. At present it has Elipse, Rectangle and Freehand, The Clone Brush has only two shapes: Round and Square. Where do you see a Freehand? If you have a shaky hand, you may try to reduce the reactivity of the mouse (see the mouse settings).

Re: Speed Effect.

If you want the dust to be sand-colored: In the Layers Palette, right-click on the dust layer and select Properties. Under the General tab, check Lock transparency. Use the Paint Brush with the Blend mode set on Color (Legacy). Select R185 G166 B149 as Foreground Color and paint on the dust cloud. R...

Re: Speed Effect.

@Jean-Luc: You didn't explain how you did that so it's not really helpful to this reader of the topic. Sorry. I was interrupted. I'm using a cartoon extracted from a comic book: Clouds 1.jpg I erase the unwanted parts: Clouds 2.jpg Using the Clone Tool, I complete the 'cloud': Clouds 3.jpg I place ...

PS. "Crippled" (I quoted it on purpose) in that it doesn't give control over the saturation and the lightness of the blurred frame.
I agree. It describes a simple effect, not a sophisticated one like yours. :)
