Using X5 Workspaces in X6 Trial Version?

I have a trial version of PSP X6. I'd like to move and use my workspaces from X5. I've tried everything I can think to do: point to the X5 workspaces folders, copying the X5 workspaces to the X6 folder, adding the X5 folders in the File Locations Preferences, etc. No luck. I also chatted with a Core...

Instant Effects in X5 - How to Make User Defined Effects

In PSP X5 I'm pretty sure there's a way to make User Defined Instant Effects in the Adjust mode, but I can't find the steps in the Help Files. I'm thinking these are just scripts, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

Re: PSP X6 Previewed on Photographyblog.com

Thanks. I did find it eventually. However, the trial version download only works for PSP X6 - not PSP X6 Ultimate. I tried downloading the X6 Ultimate trial, but the install is only for the basic X6. Oh well.... I prefer AfterShot Pro anyway.

PSP X6 Previewed on Photographyblog.com

Has anyone heard about this? It's not shown on the Corel.com site.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. In the meantime I'll stick with ACDSee Pro 6 which has no problem with the .RW2 files.

Re: Version 1.2.0.7 is out

The FZ200 IS mentioned as being supported in the release notes on this page - http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index.jsp?ppid=4300004&prnid=6600046&pgid=800161 What it means - I believe - is that despite the absence of the FZ200 in the release notes, this version can process the .RW2 files the FZ200...

Re: RAW Support for FZ200 Now? NOT.

The patches and Updates page at Corel says ASP now supports my Panasonic FZ200 RAW files (.RW2) but they don't appear in the file list after performing the update. All the same, a technical examination of the binary shows: strings AfterShotPro | grep -i fz200 panasonicfz200.icc PanasonicDMC-FZ200 ?...

ACDSee updates RAW Support

Now that ACDSee has RAW support for my cameras I will be using ACDSee 15 for RAW processing. At $20.00 for an upgrade to ACDSee 15 it's a no-brainer. I probably don't need Pro 6, but even that upgrade is only $35. Here's the list of newly supported cameras. Canon Powershot S110 Canon EOS M Canon EOS...

PSP X5 Updates RAW Support. ASP - Not.

I'm hoping ASP will update its RAW support now that Paint Shop Pro X5 has issued Service Pack 2 with additional RAW support for several cameras. See the Release Notes here: http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... gid=800161

Corel just released Service Pack 2 for X5. You might want to give it a try.

Re: New camera Profiles?

I'm not holding my breath for G15 support. In the meantime, I'm using Helicon Filter 5 - http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads.html HF 5 is a little known but gem of a program. You can use it free as long as the saved files are 4MP or less.

Re: Can't open .RW2 file from Panasonic Lumix. Trial limitat

If you don't like the Silkypix RAW converter that comes with the FZ200, you can try Helicon Filter 5, which uses DCraw and others. It's a nice program and free with a file save limitation of 4MP. Go to: http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads.html

Re: View Canon RAW (cr2) images

I like Helicon Filter 5 for RAW processing of new/unsupported RAW file; it's a little-known gem. It will handles my Canon G15 RAW files fine. The interface is very intuitive I think. It will do batch processing though I've not used the function. Download it here: http://www.heliconsoft.com/downloads...

Lost Collections Also! WTF?

I've also lost the ability to make smart collections in X5. I can create them but they don't return any results. None of the options in Collections work, i.e, tags, stars, etc. They work fine in X4. X5 is a total F-up for me. And yes, I've applied all the hotfixes and service packs.
