Go to your User Control Panel in the top left of the Board (where my green arrow is pointing in the attached screenshot). Then select the Edit Account Settings tab.

If you cannot see 'User Control Panel', can you confirm that you are logged into the Board when you can't see it?

As for uploading an image, when you have clicked on the Post Reply button and have the new space open where you can write your reply, then down below that space, to the left, you should see two tabs -- as in my screenshot. Click on Upload Attachment. Then click on Choose File to browse to the image and select it. Then click on Add the File. If you just want the image to be at the end of your reply, that's all you have to do.

But if you want it to go in the middle of the text of your reply, then click on the 'Place inline' button which should have appeared. That will put some text within square brackets which you can highlight and then do a controlled cut Ctrl+X, then transfer it to a new place by putting the mouse arrow where you want it, and inserting it with Ctrl+V.

NOTE, however, that you need to keep the image pretty small as the Board software will reject the image if it is too large.

Sorry -- my fault. I was going from memory and got it slightly wrong, or not detailed enough. In User Control Panel, click first on the Profile tab, then you should see down to the left, a vertical set of tabs, the bottom one of which is Edit Account Settings. Password control is there.

I know you are in Windows 7, but am pretty sure it has a utility the same as Win 10 where you can change AutoPlay settings. Check in Control Panel for "Default Programs" or something similar. Under that there should be a listing for Autoplay to set a default program to play different types of media. This was probably altered when MF was first installed.

i wish! i see no tabs leading to anything likely.
it has never been a pest before, but i recently had to put the win7 back to factory state.
it IS useful software
and a 500KB max for images is years out of date.
thanks

Did you look in the Control Panel under Program defaults as Ken asked?
You don't change the AutoPlay setting from MovieFactory

You don't change AutoPlay from MovieFactory as far as I know. AutoPLay is a Windows feature and is changed using the Windows Control Panel. If you don't know how to do this, google for it.

As I said about, check in (Windows) Control Panel and look for "Default Programs" or something similar. (I no longer have Win 7 on any of my computers so cannot check on the exact wording, though think it will be much the same as in Win 10.)
