Perfectly Clear - Old Versions

Postby ehume » Sat Aug 11, 2018 4:23 pm

I like the UI of Perfectly Clear v1. I reinstalled PSP x7 and ran the Perfectly Clear installer app. Perfectly Clear Version 1 runs perfectly on PSPx7.

I have Perfectly Clear v2 and v3 that work in PSP 2018 but only v2 and v3 show up in the Plugins menuitem under Athentech. No v1. I have even copied the Perfectly Clear plugin directory and renamed it in the PSP 2018 plugins master directory (I first made sure it would run properly as a renamed directory in x7's plugins folder; it did). But no plain Perfectly Clear in 2018.

So, What am I doing wrong? What more do I need to do to make v1 show up?

I found a way to see it. Since x7 has now been installed I instructed PSP 2018's plugin system to look in x7's plugin folder. It worked! Now I can see all three versions.

What this tells me is that I cannot uninstall x7, or if I do, leave the directory structure alone.

I answered my first question. I changed my look-in folder from plugins/en to plugins/, then I removed the x7 plugins folder from the look-in list. I still can see all three versions. That's good. I can now uninstall x7, directory structure and all.
