I had it and got a refund the next day. Neither the 64 bit nor 32 bit versions would operate my scanner (Espson Home Expression XP 345). I tested a few other similar programs to PSP 2019 and they all worked fine and I note from this board, that scanning issues have been a problem for Corel PSP 64 bit since at least 2015. I don't think it was unreasonable of me to think that Corel may have addressed and rectified this issue by now, but unfortunately they haven't. I'm not interested in their 'workarounds' by using 3rd party software to scan then import to PSP, so I got rid of it and got my money back.

I wouldn't recommend PSP 2019.

I think this topic is about what you DO like about PSP2019?

What I like is that it migrates all your workspace settings seamlessly. File > Import > Content of previous versions.
It makes such a difference that you don't have to make your own toolbar again or go through the endless menu's to set up your new PSP.

I love being able to customize my setup - tools.
The program definitely does seem to load faster so that is a big bonus too.

Only had it up and running one day, but so far, outstanding. Everything works. All the problems that I had in previous versions have been addressed. It is stable, no crashes. All my Photoshop Plugins work. This is the best version of PaintShop yet.

Not really PSP itself, but I love their plugin Pic-to-Painter.
They've also supplied some proper new picturetubes, patterns etc. instead of resupplying the same old.
Both 32-bit and 64- bit appear stable in both the trialversions and now the purchased ones.
Got a great deal. € 18,99 for the Ultimate bundle, if you go the the Welcome screen. Can't be without for that, can you.
Got a feeling this will be one of my favourite versions since X7.

I'll second that. Seamless.

What I also like: being able to enlarge toolbar text.

Do you mean you want the text to be larger than is now possible in PSP 2019 by going to the "User Interface" menu at the top of screen and choosing Text Size which has been added to what was already in the PSP 2018 menu? I have a 4K 28" monitor, and find the text, when I choose Large, to be more than sufficient. Mind you I also enlarge the icons! The ability to increase the text size was a significant plus factor for me in the new version.

Ken

Call it a typo. I get confused. I meant to say that I like the ability to enlarge text size. It was a worthwhile addition.

Love the PicToPainting plugin...that is going to be fun to play with. It reminds me of the Deep Art Effects app. The installation went flawlessly the first time around, unlike my experience with last year's version.

Idem for me I think as far its a really more stable platform then 2018 that I had so much problem that I was using almost only the X9 version .

I' think that Corel listen more their customer then before and this site is not stranger at that. And I want to thank all the administrator for their time to helps us to have fun with our Corel software

Sorry for my english , I'm french :D

On my old computer (3 GHz Quad Core, 8GB RAM), I like the new speed of some tools (tone mapping, selective focus, ...) and the relative stability of the program, great work.
Some work should still be done with the brushes ... maybe in another version of the program. :D

WOW! I have one of the new Olympus micro 4/3 cameras. Olympus brings out the colours in photos beautifully, but other photo editing programs (even Lightroom) would wash out those colours under any colour profile. Olympus' proprietary software is too laggy to use, so I opened up some raw files on PSP2019. I was so excited to see the true 'Olympus colours' shining through!! :D Thank you Corel :)

I thought that the subsequent upgrades were going to be free after the 2018 version?

Service packs and patches are free; not new versions. You may be eligible for upgrade pricing instead of full price but not free.
