iphotoExpress 1.1 problem

iphotoExpress 1.1 problem

Postby thescotsman » Thu Jan 13, 2011 1:40 pm

I have an issue with photoexpress 1.1

The problem is that the installer does not work with the version of windows that I am using which is windows 7 home premium 64bit. I can get the actual program to run if I go through all the folders on the cd but I would prefer to have this installed on my hard drive. Is there any way to get the installer to work with this version of windows. I know that it is an old program but I like using it and would like to continue to do so.

Welcome to the forums,

Sadly I really don't know what could be done to get such an old version to run on a current OS. What OS is it slated to run on, Win98 or earlier than that? So much has changed with operating systems, so having a very old version run now is nothing but pure miraculous. The best that could be tried is the compatibility mode for whatever OS it is suppose to run on. Aside from that, a dual-boot system, or running an older operating system on a virtual machine inside of Win7.
