Hello,

Does PSP have to equivelant to the warp tools in Photoshop and Illustrator that work on bitmaps - specifically the arch and arc tools are frequently used

Yes, but not really.

We do have meshwarp but it works differently. The first main difference is that the edges of the cage are anchored to the edges of the canvas. So it's not as free moving as photoshop's tool. Also we can subdivide the cage into as many nodes as we want for more granular control, but they are limited in how they move.

1) You have to move the nodes. You cannot click and drag on the image to distort it.
2) Holding SHIFT while dragging will lock a single row of nodes to move together. And holding Ctrl while dragging will case a drop off or curved effect in moving the nodes where the node you're dragging will move the most, the nearest neighbors will move less, and so on.
3) There are presets you can use. You have to load them with the load button, but they don't replace the current warp. So if you load it in any changes you make will be done on top of the other warping.
