OMG yes please!!! The whites & blacks sliders were the only thing holding me to Lightroom. I use those if needed and then export to PSP. It would be great to do everything in PSP only.
A shadows slider would be awesome too, if it's not already in 2019 (I haven't tried 2019 yet).

Obviously, I concur. But I have opened an image In Adjust of my PSP 2019 trial. I can get Highlights and Shadows, but Silkypix (admittedly an app partly dedicated to RAW) gives me Black level and OxP OpticsPro 11 Basic gives me Highlights, Midtones, Shadows, and Blacks. When I move from Adjust to Edit on a RAW image in PSP 2019, I see adjustments for Brightness, Saturation, and Shadow. In Aftershot 3, which came in my PSP 2018 Ultimate bundle, I can adjust Exposure, Highlights, HL Range (exactly what I asked for in PSP 2020), and Blacks.

When I go to Edit (the center of working in PSP) when I go to Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Highlights/Midtones/Shadows I can adjust only Highlights, Midtones, and Shadows; but that's all, and the Adjustments are all old -- they are not in JASC's PSP7 (I checked) but they are unchanged from PSPx4 (I also checked). I appreciate the precision adjustments, but the sliders are hard to grab and move. More: we should have, as Violet points out, adjustments for whites and blacks.

I cannot comment on the Perfectly Clear plugins I cannot because 3.5 did not come with my PSP 2019 Ultimate trial and PC3 no longer works on my installation of PSP 2018.

Bottom line: I agree with Violet, we really need sliders for Whites, good sliders, not those you use right now.

I would like to see the user given a choice between a rotating image and a rotating Crop Tool. The rotating Crop Tool was last seen in PSPx9. The rotating image was new for PSP 2018 and remains in PSP 2019. It is tremendously off-putting.

Use another zooming technique that allows more fluidity during an enlargement of the image (currently, a scan from top to bottom, flap, flap, flap). The zoom is one of the most important functions. All tools are affected by this zoom out of date, and this reinforces the impression that PSP is slow.

Put the Autosave back to 5 minutes; 15 minutes is too long to wait. I don't know why it was changed in PSP 2019; I can't imagine anyone asked for this.

Please, please, create a menu to adjust the size of the text on the rulers. At this point I cannot use rulers because the measurement/text is microscopic on a small laptop.

Been asking for this since X4...
Why can we not point to the corner of an image and zoom into that corner using the scroll wheel?
I always have to use the scroll bars to get to the very corner.

Allow both Foreground and Background to be transparent. At present one or the other can be transparent, but not both.

In order that transparent creations are not invisible to the user, they could have dotted outlines which are not visible in the finished product.

Just an idea, make blinking status bar 5 sec before an autosave or display a countdown somewhere.

In another thread we have had mention about centring of the image when zooming and using the crop tool. This was also noted in 2018 so I decided to revisit and see if any changes in 2019.
Preparation using 2018-

1. Load an image I used one 2000 x 1333 pixels. Activate the rulers and also Guides
(View >Rulers.
View > Guides)
Drag guides to the centre of the horizontal and vertical bars so they intersect in the centre of the image. (1000 and 666).

2. Now choose any tool except the crop tool and observe what happens. (the guide lines stay in the same position)

3. Choose the crop tool and watch the guide lines move , switch to another tool and then back to the crop tool and you can see the movement of the guide lines as if the image has two different centres.
This was fixed in 2019 (well almost - there is still a slight movement of the image possibly due to the uneven number for the centre height.)

4. Now switch to the pan tool or paint tool or clone tool.
Place your cursor over the top left quarter and roll the mouse to zoom in and observe how the image is zoomed in to follow the mouse pointer but never to the actual pixel corner (x =0, y= 0)
- (you could get this on earlier versions to at least X2/ X3.)

5. Switch back to the Crop tool and the image changes to a close up of the centre and zooming out you find it centred on the centre of the image.
6. Now try and use the mouse alone to zoom in to crop a small rectangular part in top left - you can't (say in a garden flowers you wanted to crop a small flower somewhere in the top left. You are forced to use the side scroll bars to move into position.
7 , Now even worse - not satisfied with the position or magnification you just bump the mouse wheel and whee!!! you are back zoomed in on the centre again. This is NOT FUN!!!

As previously mentioned The Crop tool is an abomination and should be fixed as how can this behaviour be treated as an improvement. I see more people saying that they will continue working with their older versions of PSP which equals loss of update sales for Corel.

I would love to have White and Black sliders too. I find that feature in Lightroom to be a great asset and so easy to use.

I would like to see a Linux version of PSP.

I have been noting the difficulties my wife has with Win 10, and the difficulties I have with Win 10 when I use it, I am loath to leave Win 7. With a Linux version of PSP, I could dedicate my personal machine to Linux and not have to use Win 10.

Edit: For those who do not know, mainstream support for Win 7 ends in 2020. So PSP 2021 should be available in Linux that year.
