WINDOWS 7 ON MAC BOOTCAMP AUDIO

Contacted Corel without any help from them
I have a MAC which also has windows 7 on
Download video studio pro X3 all movies and music I can put on but it will not let me do narration
Anybody any ideas

I have no idea about the Mac aspect of all this. But in any case, even with VS on a PC I never use the inbuilt narration function. It is too limited. I always do my narration/voiceovers on a third part piece of software, save them as a .wav, then insert them into the VS audio timeline. I am sure your Mac will have audio software you could use...

Yeah, but Ken since it's bootcamp they would have to shut-down and start up their computer to switch between MAC and Windows. Not really worth it. If they were using Parallels then yes, but otherwise how about you make s a suggestion on the third-party software.

Personally if I do narration I record using Audacity because it's simple and the effects are good enough for my amateur hour methods.

I wondered about that afterwards... but wasn't sure how bootcamp worked. (Know nothing about Macs... :oops: ) As for the third party programs I use, the normal one used to be Nero's Wave Editor, simply because I have had successive versions of Nero. But I only discovered Audacity myself about a year ago, and agree that it is an excellent choice... and moreover, it's free!! :lol:
