video on ps4

OK, I have looked at pro show gold and movie factory 6 plus. They don't have the great details like themes and they are not nearly as easy to use as ps4. I am resigned that the video has to go into its own slideshow, so I imported a small video that I shot on a new video camera. It is a .mov in quicktime. I can import the video and it will play in the video trim window, however, in the slideshow preview player it shows on one still of the video. Is it the format? or what?

I could use some help, or the new camera goes back to the store.

For a variety of reasons MOV files can be difficult to work with. My recommendation would be to convert your MOV to a more compatible format such as MPEG2. You should then be able to use it in your show.

If you don't have video conversion software, here's a link to a freeware program that's fairly painless to use: ... ideo_free/
