Using VS x8 I note that my video comes out slightly darker after rendering video to computer. Most notably flesh tones. Is their a way to adjust brightness in the rendering process? Regards, Mike

Why not apply one of the brightness or contrast filters to relevant clips during the editing process?

Ken, I did that during editing, as you said. Sorry I was not clearer. Using FX filters I adjusted the brightness, etc. for improved flesh tone. No problem here. However, when I make a test copy of this improved still image, say of my daughter, and then go to "Share" and then "render" it to a folder, after this rendering it appears in my library next to the original of same image. No problem. However, its brightness is no longer as I adjusted it in the original. The difference is clear. The "rendered" copy of the original image is now slightly darker... no longer the proper brightness I wished. The second you play it, it becomes slightly darker and stay that way. So is there a way of re-adjusting this "default brightness" set during rendering process, or whatever it may be that is causing this? Regards, Mike
