I don't think there's anything to fix. I see that on numerous fora. Many also do not allow clicking through embedded links in posts unless you are logged in.

(split the topic to not hijack the original one)

while it may be used on other fora, i think it is very unfriendly and not really helpful for a support-forum. given that there is no secret or offensive stuff i dont see a problem for anyone to see the full thread with all the content in it.

Please note……

In an attempt to keep the forum active we operate a zero posts policy.
All members with a join by date older than 2 months that haven’t actually
posted will be removed.

Our records show that you fall into the zero posts category.
If you are not intending to post to the forums then you do not need to
register.

Non-registered guests will still be able to view the forum reading the
posts as normal. However some attachments may not be available.

Yup, not very logical.
There are people who have a 1000:1 browse:post ratio, they are forced to post just to browse.....

cheers

Hi Guys

I have been aware of viewing the Attachment limitations and are looking into the issue with a view to allow this.

I think it should have been available by default and someone in the distant past has disabled viewing attachments. It may have been a security issue, I just don't know.

As Admin we may not have the authority to change this, but we will talk to Corel for their opinion.
