the problem is that i can't always figure out exactly what codec i specifically need, even with the codec information appliances, they tell me what i need to run it, but not necessarily what i need to run it well -- as is the case with audio lag -- sure I can view and hear the file and the system says i have the codecs to do so but i need more than that at times.
Also, off topic, but can corel videostudio pro x5 show waveforms on audio and video files? my audio and video blocks are just bocks, with no overlayed sound wave forms, and I find it hard to line up certain things to audio without seeing the waveforms as they occur.
