Plug-ins not recognized

Postby gjtoth on Tue Apr 24, 2012 1:50 am

I'm running OpenSuse 11.4

Although, ASP says the plug-ins are installed, they don't show up under the plug-in tab. Suggestions?

What version of ASP are you running and is it all or just some?
Thanks.

Running the latest version. It's all the ones I downloaded and installed. There are a few there: B&W, Color Equalizer, and Nostalgia. I installed anything else I could get my hands on and they're not showing up.

I myself believe there are some major problems with ASP 1.0.1.10. Not sure if this will fix all your problems but if you move /opt/AfterShotPro/lib/libstdc++.so.6 to libstdc++.so.6~, it should fix at least typewriter, also if you check on the bibble5 support web page there is a fix for the texa linux plug-ins. The rest of the plugins all worked on my linux box so hopefully the typewriter fix will also fix the rest of your plug-ins. If you haven't yet you may want to check your printing as printing seems to also be a major problem with the current release.
Thanks.

Thanks very much. And, thanks for the printing heads-up. :)

Well, that didn't do the trick. However, I'm sure learning to get around in ASP. :D Thanks again.

Sorry to hear that, have you tried going to your .AfterShotPro/Plugins/ folder and deleting all the plug-in and just reinstalling them?
Thanks.

Well, this is odd. I don't have that folder in my home directory!

I created that folder and reinstalled the plug-ins. BINGO! We have lift-off! Thanks bunches.

Real odd, because that is where the plug-ins are installed. You may want to reinstall AfterShot Pro as these are all the folders and files located in /home/.AfterShotPro
