Files missing from Catalog

Postby thazooo on Mon Apr 16, 2012 4:02 pm

I have started using ASP non destructive editing feature for processing some RAW files.
Files have been imported to the catalog. Adjustments have been made. Save As option used to save files as Tiff.
The saved Tiff files are not listed or shown in the cataloged file folder.
If I leave Catalog and go into File mode, all images are present.
I have Nuked the Cache as explained in a different thread, still no Tiff images shown in Catalog mode.

Is this how ASP works or am I missing something here ??

Re-run the import on the catalog.
AS does not perform any auto-import.

The cache is irrelevant for the catlogs, it is used only in FS mode.

cheers

The exception to this is when you call an External Editor (such as PSP).
After I pointed this issue out to Corel, they added the go-between file to the Catalog automatically.
This works very well.
