Typewriter Plugin not loading post Upgrade to V1.0.10.1

Can someone confirm if this is an issue peculiar to Linux Mint 11, is it working for others?

AftershotPro.log reports:
46751.457: SettingsWindow::addTabs() - ui file missing: "/opt/AfterShotPro/supportfiles/tools/net.sadman.aftershot.typewriter"

The ui file is still there.

I've deleted and reinstalled the plugin, no errors reported at installation.
But no entry in Tabs.

FWIW: Its still working well in WinXP .

Yup, some change in the bundled libs leads to this. Sadman needs to recompile the Linux version.

I just posted images in the Corel forum with TypeWriter applied (via a preset) running on a Windows 7 box...

I can confirm Typewriter not working on Ubuntu 12.04 beta2 with current upgrade to V1.0.1.10 of ASP.
Thanks.

So I found the fix is to repeat all my fonts in the appdata folder C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Corel\AfterShot Pro\PluginData\typewriter.

That sounds a little outta there... Has anyone found a better solution like a pointer to the already established win fonts folder?

That is the default location.
A plug-in specific directory in the PluginData directory in the AS user folder.
Been that way since the latest SDK was published.

There is a temporary Fix.
See sadman's response in the other place.

Thanks!

Your reply seems somewhat irrelevant in this context.
Perhaps you meant to respond to 'afx's post rather than mine, or intended to reply to 'sadman' on the Bibble Forum.

Thanks!

First create a file named

typeWriter.cfg

Which is a text file containing the path to your font folder (typically c:\windows\fonts)

Place the typeWiter.cfg file in C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Corel\AfterShot Pro\PluginData\typewriter\

No offense meant. It was simply a way to help others so they would not have to wade through 18 pages to find the fix buried 3/4 of the way through. The thank you was sincere. I had seen that post before and checked the first and last couple of pages, but you inspired me to read all 18.

Ultimately it seems zText handles fonts in a more user friendly manner with more variables and will be my text factory for the time being.

No offence taken. :)
I simply felt that without linking your post back to' sadman's reply in the other place it was unclear where you were coming from.
