Load Error Paint Shop Pro X2

Postby tomohawk on Thu Apr 12, 2012 5:38 pm

When I click to open Paint Shop Pro X2, a splash screen is displayed and just hangs there. When I use ALT/TAB to scroll through open items, I can see an error message window, bot when I select that window, the splash screen covers it and I cannot get rid of the splash screen. When I then click to open Paint Shop Pro a second time the error message is displayed in front of the splash screen "Python libraries are missing or corrupt.Valid libraries should exist in the "Python Libraries" subdirectory of the application. Try repairing or reinstalling Paintshop Pro Photo.Paintshop Pro Photo will now exit. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the program works once or twice, but then the same problem reappears.
I'm using Windows 7 Pro.

You may want to read this article from the Corel knowledgebase it for old versions of PSP but I believe it still applies to your version.

The log in request is to Force.com not these forums so unless you have an account there it does not help.

Not a lot of help Abiel to the thousands of us who are not registered with Force.com - I can't even see how to do it on that page you linked to. Do you have a more accessible link.

I'm not registered with Force.com and I have no trouble opening the link that Abiel posted. There's no log-in or authorization required on that page or for the knowledgebase features.

The link works this time and displays a set of instructions for downloading and running http://www2.jasc.com/pub/ZapJasc.exe

When I click on this link, I get "page not found"

Try this link: http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads/pub/ZapJasc.exe. It goes directly to the file download.
