Tiff or JPEG

For select photos, I use raw files. If I convert to TIFF, can VS Pro X5 handle it or should I go with JPEG?I

All I want to know is can VS Pro X5 handle Tiff''s, as they are of better quality or should I use Jpeg's? Anybody have experience using them. All those specs are superfluous to me. Thanks for the input anyway.

Yes it can - the only relevant bit to you from those specs is :-

Images: BMP, CLP, CUR, EPS, FAX, FPX, GIF, ICO, IFF, IMG, J2K, JP2, JPC, JPG, PCD, PCT, PCX, PIC, PNG, PSD, PSPImage, PXR, RAS, RAW, SCT, SHG, TGA, TIF, UFO, UFP, WMF

So which ever of those gives you the best result then use - but remember when you render out your final video all images are reduced to the same resolution - whatever they were before.

I had read somewhere that PNG's are the prefered still image file type to use in Videostudeo -- don't know what the advantage is.
