Video import file selection Problem

Hello from Hamburg, Corel-Friends,
I've just bought a brand new HD Cam (Sony MC 2000 E) and checked working with the taped material on Corel VS X5 (demo version - if it works fine, I'll buy it .
Importing videos is only possible with "Import from digital media" (This is my translation - I use the german edition Import von digitalen Medien).
I can browse without problems to the Cam' folder (AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM). In the X5 import window I can see all my clips (e.g. 1,2,3...,8).

Problem is, that X5 only allows me to import all clips at once. Not single ones. I have to use the "Select All"-Button. Otherwise the Button stays grey.
Is this due to the fact that this is a trial version or do I have to change some settings?

Welcome to the forums.....

When you select an individual clip, tick the top left corner of the clip. The small grey square.

The trial version should be fully functional.
