Here's a couple of presets for Nuance I put together. Though these presets use the vibrance and contrast functions in the unlocked pro version of Nuance, they'll work just fine in the free version. You just won't be able to adjust those settings. I want you to see what you can do!
The first one (second thumbnail above) is called Ice Queen. It reduces vibrance and contrast in the skin tones and shifts them towards a cool lavender. It also reduces vibrance in the highlights and shadows somewhat. The idea is to create a cool, smooth, icy portrait preset.
The second one is a bright, vibrant colourful Polaroid simulation. Lots of pushed vibrance in the highlights and shadows, lots of pushed contrast, and shifts towards purplish reds and pale peach like Polaroid film that's way, way out of date.
Nostalgia and Nuance are basically my go-to tools, and making presets like this is a great way to speed up your workflow. You could also consider sharing your presets with others! Nuance is great for that because you can do so much with just one tool, and it's almost infinitely tweakable.
Edit: presets updated for Nuance 1.0.7, replaced here
