[BUG] forgotten dots

Postby andysalay on Sat Feb 04, 2012 12:26 pm

Funny, yet another tiling effect...

Try this:
  • get a nice shot with blue sky (no texture, so effect is easy to see),
  • rotate image slightly,
  • create a layer above, if you want set larger feather for gradual blend,
  • darken the layer significantly.
It seems the (internal) layer mask has forgotten white dots (I have marked some artifacts with red spots below), the pattern resembles tiles, and is tilted according to rotation angle.

I would like to know, if this bug is well known to developers/community, or only I act so abusingly towards ASP and use layers for graduated filters with stronger EV shift.

Hi,

have not tried to reproduce, but definitely looks like a nice "feature"

Maybe you should report it here:

I can confirm that it happens to me as well, only when the image is rotated though (as far as I can tell).
