audio problem wile rendring

i'm working with corel video studio pro (X4) I insert a hole diesney movie to cut his end and use it in my movie. when i'm in "project mode" i'm not hearing the sound of the movie, when i'm in "clip mode" i can hear the voise'. i tried to make rendring but i have got soundless video clip- what can i do?
p.s
it's keep happen's with long movies, it's not happened with clips that i captured bymyself from the camera, and its happend in AVI movies

What are the properties of the clips?

What are you outputting to? DVD, video file, etc.?

out puting - mpeg2
properties i dont know... it's avi movie. when i changed it to Mpeg file with other program it worked! but i want to save the using in onther program

With a clip in the library or timeline, right click on it and copy the properties here.

The frame size of 544 x 320 seems very unusual.
I would have thought 720 x 576.
Is this the original video file or has it been re-coded?

It is using “ffdshow” compression, have you installed this codec on your pc
