Photos plus video clips???

Postby xxKerryxx on Sat Jun 07, 2008 11:35 am

Hi

I have the programme and it makes excellent slide shows. I want to know if I can add little video clips into a presentation as well. I'm referring to the little video that you can take on a digital camera...

Can I place it in amongst my photos to view in the middle of it? I know it can be done easily on Windows Media Player, and I'm hoping I can do it on this Ulead CD & DVD version 4.

It sounds like I can, but I think I need a few pointers please.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums,

First I don't have this program, so the only reference I have is the User Guide. Looking on Page#15 and 16 it explains creating a Photo slideshow and creating a Video Slideshow. For video slideshows you may use video files like from a digital camera, and Flash files.

That being said, I don't think that you can inter-mix the video with photos in the same slideshow. A program like VS would be needed for this.

Unfortunately photos and video clips cannot be intermixed within the same show. The only exception would be a "first play" video (plays before menu appears) which can be specified on the "2 Theme > Gallery" screen. Some of Corel's more sophisticated apps such as VideoStudio 11.5 do allow mixing of various media types.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your replies. That is so disappointing that it can't be done, especially since it can be done with the simple Windows player that comes with the XP. I figured it must be straight forward to do with Ulead.

Guess I'm going to have to go with Windows instead.
