Shimmer on Text

Postby NPS on Thu Apr 26, 2007 3:27 am

I think I saw something in a previous post but not sure if it was the exact same thing.

I am looking to have a shimmer or spotlight go across my text in my project, is there a plug in for this or a way to animate it or do I have to do the shimmer in another program? Thanks for any help.

You could try moving the light source(s) from left to right. That may get close to what you want. Some fiddling may be required, though! :D

I don't know if this is exactly what you are after, but check out the light bulb effect in the plug-in madness III samples on Ulead's site:

Hope that helps.

That is similar to what I am looking for yes!! Is there any way to do that same light bulb effect or spot light effect without purchasing the plug in?

I am working on a volunteer year end hockey DVD for the Antlers and don't have the resources to purchase alot of extras...if anyone knows if this can be done without the plug in the help would be appreciated.

I am not an expert in Cool3d (Klowther is!)
How about typing your text and then dragging one of the object effects onto it such as psychedelic

Another idea is to use the method here using a Video Editing program such as VideoStudio or MediaStudio.

Fun With Titles VideoStudio 9 and above
