Hi All.
Can somebody give me some help to install the grad filter?I'm trying to install the regular way but I still not see it appears in plugins section of APS

You just double-click the file to install, correct? Should show up in one of the plugins tabs. Do you have the asPluginManager installed?

Hi Mr.Wilson
It sound stupid but It seems that i can't get installed,yes I do have Plugin manager installed,I see all the installed plugins aswell the gradfilter but not to be able to use it I don't see it and I find that strange.

Hi Charles!
Just throwing out ideas there.
Have you looked through all the tabs? Plugins can be minimized, can you find the "GradFilter Plugin" header? Does "GradFilter" have a check mark by it in the asPluginManager plugin?
You might also want to check your plugin directory. Find your directory by looking at "Help > System Info" and the User Home info. Then use Windows Explorer to navigate to that folder, and go into the Plugins folder. Take a look at the end of the name of each folder...make sure that the "GradFilter" folder does not end in ".off".

Hi Mr.Wilson.
sorry for my late reaction,I was doing something wrong,I've downloaded gradfilter and i use winrar to unzip it and that was going wrong i had to use winzip and it was OK after that it installed without any problem.

There is no need to extract the archive to install a plugin into ASP. Just open AfterShot Pro, go to File -> Install Plugin...

Hello,
I think Charles used IE to dl the plugin, so it was saved as a zip file instead of afzplug.
Either using FF or renaming it form .zip to .afzplug when saving under IE do the job.
Maybe adding this to a FAQ into this section would be useful (though I know FAQs, just like manuals, usually are not read...
).
