Filter by filename in Catalog?

Postby Tornado on Thu Jun 21, 2012 4:15 pm

Sometimes after importing images into my catalog, I inadvertantly included a mix of jpgs & raw formats for every image. This means I have two thumbnails per original captured file when I review my shots.
I'd like to select all jpgs and move them to a new subfolder. I can't see a way to make that selection via a filter or search of some kind that selects based on filename extension (.jpg, .orw, .crw etc etc)...so I have to manually select using CTRL-Click on each jpg.
Is there a more efficient way?

You can select file type / JPGs via the photo info in the metadata browser for imported images.
