Outputting error

Postby Ginger on Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:27 pm

I've attempted several times to save my images as jpegs onto my desktop, but each time I get an error message. It reads, "Batch Save As complete: 257 items in 6.454 seconds. 0.0251 seconds per image. (257 Errors)

I've tried saving one at a time, still get the error. I'm hoping I'm just missing some obvious but vital step. :)

I'm a total newbie when it comes to Corel...switching from Gimp.

Thanks in advance!

Have a look the AfterShotPro.log file in your AS user folder. It might have a hint.

Thanks. I'll see if I can suss anything out there.

I've been trying different methods...finally got a new error message. Yay (?) *sigh*

"Unable to write XMP IMG_9311.jpg.xmp: No such file or directory"

Anyone familiar with this?

Thanks!

Sound like a permission problem to me.

you have with the user that you work in aftershot no write premissions in the folder where the photo's are.
the folder is has no write acces (for the used user).

Question,
I have a collection/catalogus with no write acces (to prevent that i do something stupid)
if i than change something in the photo the same error comes.
but he changed the picture, if i close aftershot and reopen the change is still there
the question, where is the change written then? in the cache? for sure not in the folder where the photo's are.
