I only can say the print from AS has not the details as the print from PS.
What did you use for DPI?
For a canon it should be 300 or 600, depending on the actual dpi the source image would deliver.
Use the next higher number (for an image that delivers 200dpi, use 300, for an image that delivers 400dpi natively, use 600).
And of course this assumes the same TIFF. If you go from raw, there are a bazillion other parameters that are involved in the image details before the printing module even comes into play.
Blame myself in the first place because probably could not achieve the same excellent post processing I'm used to in PS.
Actually, I find printing in PS horrendously complicated, especially when one needs to upsample manually.
I prefer the ease of QImage.
Beside that I couldn't use the Adobe PSD file in AS. My next step will be to use a same TIF file and print from both As and PS
Why bother? Printing is not a key strength of AS...
