camera profiles

Hi,

I have installed the 30-days version of ASP. For make the right desission to buy LR or ASP.
I'm mad about ASP because I can use my own structure of folders. (I won't use the libary of LR..... )

I cant find one -for me important- issue: How can I use my custom made (Colorchecker Passport) cameraprofiles? I cant find them in ASP.

Can anybody help me?

Check to color management tool.
But, no idea whether your profiles will work.
That probabaly depens on the tool you used to generate the profile.

I don't use Bibble 5, now ASP, for thier filing stystem. I use my own directory system. Simply go to File/Open file, and you're in business.

It's even easier than that. Go to the File System Tab right below the Library tab and you now have a treeview of your local directory structure. Since I already have a great DAM, I have no need for the catalog (I argued against its inclusion way back when--lost that one. ).

I go WAY back to MSDos and directories. I haven't learnt anything else in all these years!!!!

Actual there are a number of way to get the same results. Sometimes old habits are just as easy as teaching this old dog new tricks.

Hi,
fully agree .... eveb old dogs have (in some point of time) look ahead and start using "new things".
But also me .... not really an old dog ... still using only FS-mode ....
Not because DAM implementation in Bibble/ASP may be not perfect... NO, just to avoid to many dependencies on SW.
But for real professional use this may be different.
