new upgrade questions

Does ASP recognize pspimage files yet? This issue is a deal breaker for me. If it does not, then I can't use ASP as an organizer.

NO. It does not. :(

It hasn't become a deal-breaker for me (yet). I haven't commited to ASP as my organizer / digital asset manager.
I am only putting limited test data into the Library / Catalog.

I suggest you put in a request to the "Survey Monkey" [I have done so]:

pspimage is the native or project file for PaintShop pro, like what Tadjio said it's not supported by Aftershot.. and it looks like you have a different work flow than people who are using Aftershot and PaintShop Pro.

If ASP supported PSPImages (at least to a limited extent) I think people using ASP and PSP might change their workflow.

I' put in the following request:
Within the Library and the File System, please could you recognise and display PSPImages?
This would enable use of ASP as a Digital Asset Manager, especially if it could at least show Thumbnails from PSPImages and read the EXIF/IPTC MetaData.
In the longer term, I would like it to open and read PSPImages just like any other file type (JPEG, TIFF etc.) or perhaps Open PSP as an External Editor automatically, if that is more practical?

Well, Corel sells AS as an image management system, so he assumption that it should support Corels image formats is only natural.

Either Corel needs to adjust the marketing message or match the product to the message.

cheers
