Just ran my first batch of work through AfterShot Pro trial, here's what I 'liked' about the process:
* Linux support
* Colourspace is handled in a logical way
* Work on the filesystem without importing/ingesting
* Batch settings: Resize long/short, and output sharpening
* The toolset in 'Standard' is well focused on the common, useful operations
* The 'Blacks' and 'Fill light' tool: no need to mess around with curves
