Menu Button highlights misaligned

Postby SteveW on Thu Dec 16, 2010 1:15 pm

Has anyone heard of or experienced this problem whereby the little highlight icons that appear when you select a menu text item (ie select a chapter), are misaligned with their associated menu text. Similarly, if you use a text menu template in which the menu text changes colour when you select it, then the alternative coloured text is not aligned with the original text.

This problem is only occuring on the final DVD image burnt to disk or to an ISO file. The menu appears perfect when previewed within DVD MovieFactory.

I've tried more than one menu template with and without customisation...still the same problem.

To date, I've been unable to find anyone who has experienced this same problem....very strange!

Using Video Studio Pro X3 to create the MPEG2 file, then DVD MovieFactory 7 SE to create and burn the DVD.

Any help appreciated.

I have experienced something similar, but only when I re-align the text. Seems the highlight icons are stationary and do not move with the text, so if I move the text sometimes the icon is over the text or too far away from it.

I have never noticed the color-changed text not aligning with the original, and you say the issues are there even when using a non-customized template, which I have not seen.

You could try updating your DirectX, which solves a lot of "previewing" issues.
