Is there any possibility to run PE 8.5 SE Basic in Windows 7?

No, since PE 8.5 was released even before Windows Vista or 7 was developed. As stated in t Photo Explorer's System Requirements, you need to be using Microsoft® Windows® 98SE, 2000, Me and XP. Though you can always try using the compatibility mode on Windows 7. You can follow the steps for Windows 7 Program Compatibility from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... of-Windows, this is not 100% fool-proof.
