How do you set back to default settings?

Postby sybernet11 on Wed Aug 30, 2006 12:55 am

While playing around with a photo, I must have clicked on and changed a setting somewhere.

Now, anytime I edit a photo when I click save I get some blurry abstract photo.

Since I don't know what I must have changed, I just want to set all the settings back to default.

Or will I have to re-install?

You must have changed the default settings for your particular way of saving. What is it? How do you go about saving? Please explain step by step.

I edit photo
Click OK
It says "overwrite original file"
I click yes.
Photo becomes fuzzy
Jpgs drop from around 400 to around 50.

First of all, it's bad practice to overwrite an image. When you do want to save, put a tick in the "Invoke Options" box. That will make PI display the options where you can select the amount of compression. You must have saved an image once with a 15% quality setting and PI retained it.
