Have you been successful at installing the components yet? If not;
- What OS are you running, Vista or XP?
- Where did you purchase it from, Corel, retail store, or some other internet vendor?
- Did your C3D PS come bundled with any other software or hardware?
If you're running Vista, try installing under an account with Administrative privileges, with UAC (User Account Control) disabled.
If you purchased it from Corel (Ulead), did you just recently purchase it, and was it an ESD (download) or box version? If it was a recent ESD, purchase, AND your download link
has not expired, try downloading it (main program) again. It could be that the main program was corrupt.
Sometimes people misconstrue the "bundled" versions of Ulead/Corel's software as being a full purchased version, when it is not. Software that is bundled with hardware or other software packages are "free" and not full versions, and generally will have an
SE tacked onto the end of the version number. To determine this click on the Help menu, and
About Ulead Cool 3D Production Studio. Generally updates, patches, and the ESD components do not install to these SE versions.
Finally I'll add that this is the first I've heard of the components not installing to a full, purchased version. Currently I have it installed on my desktop (Win XP HE) and my laptop (Vista HP). On my Vista laptop I've recently had to reformat and reinstall everything. For C3DPS, I used my original downloaded component files, which I had backed up onto CDs some 4 yrs ago..
