PaintShop Photo Pan & Zoom

Postby FRANCIS on Fri Feb 11, 2011 2:52 pm

I have recently purchased Corel Digital Studio 2010 and have just made my first slide show in Paintshop Photo. Pan and Zoom has automatically been included in the slideshow. How can I change to zoom in or zoom out?
I cannot find any mention of zoom options in the manual.

Welcome to the forums Francis, :)

I don't have a definitive answer, but I think my guess will be fairly accurate. I don't think you can. If you created your slide-show using PSPP, you're actually using the Project Creator that is included with it. It is very basic, and limits you on what you can do. I won't even get into the problems, hair-loss, shattered nerves you may well experience with Digital Studio 2010. Corel just flat dropped the ball with that one. In order to provide any sort of meaningful help, I, probably most others, must regretfully fire up the program to see if we can figure out an answer. It's just a program we refuse to use.

Have you had the program for more than 30 days? If not Corel does have a 30-day money back guarantee.. ;)

Many thanks Ron for your comments regarding paint shop photo.
I'm begining to regret buying Digital Studio 2010 now. Life is never easy is it!

Hello FRANCIS,

Because PaintShop Project creator is template driven, there is no controls or settings to change the pan and zoom of the slideshow. You may want to try Videstudio Pro X3 or DVD Movie Factory 7 which gives you more control over your project. You can download the trials at http://www.corel.com/trials.

Thanks Abiel,
Will give one of the trial downloads a chance to see if it is more useful than Digital Studio2010.
I really wanted some soft ware just to turn my still pictures in to a slide show to vieu on television, adding pan and zoom is OK but I wanted to choose when to pan and when to zoom in/out.
