Hmmmmmmm!!

Overall a simple editing program but it has potential with plenty of room for expansion.

Corel DVD Factory 2010 allows you to create the DVD output pics to follow.....

OOPS! - need multiple CPUs

Postby ruggy1 on Sun Sep 06, 2009 2:00 am

With the program MetadataMgr.exe running full time in the background, you need at least 2 CPUs (which I should have read about in the 'system requirements' tab). Please ignore my previous posting.
MF2, MF3, MF4, MF5, VS7, VS10+, VS12, Nero Vision Express. Ricoh and Sony 16x DVD recorder, Sony HC5 High def camera. Also Canopus ADVC110 for AV/DV input through firewire

But remember, this is a software suite of "lite" versions. I wouldn't expect them to have every bell & whistle. BUT, if they have figured out the "blip" problem for this, it is very promising that that technology will be incorporated into the next "full" version of VS.

Thanks for the quick reply. I edited my previous post. I have "DirectX 9.0c" installed and still got the message.

This is the item that does not comply with the minimum specs: Intel® Core™ Duo T2400 1.83 GHz. So nothing doing !

Does this program come with green screen editing functions? Maybe it won't because it is a lite version but it looks promising. Just looking at the program it sounds like it can edit AVCHD which is nice for a $50 editing program.

I know most companies all make editing programs edit AVCHD but usually their cheapest software can't edit AVCHD. If I were to purchase Sony Vegas 9 the $70 version can't edit HD files. I have Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 and I only have the basic version that cant edit AVCHD. This version video studio looks promising and I would imagine whatever standard video program they are working on should be great.
